Who Runs the World? GIRLS!!

On Saturday January 19, 2019 I attended my first women's march and it was unreal.

I am so happy and proud to call myself a female. It felt so empowering and amazing to be apart of something bigger.

We went to the boyish jeans sign making and they had the cutest showroom filled with yummy goodies. Boyish had a sign making station along side a mimosa, pressed juice, fruit, & scrumptious brekkie food. I of course had to swipe a pressed juice and some fruit. Frank loved making new friends and stuffing his face with all the watermelon he could get his hands on.

I had to buy the biggest pinkest poster I could find even though they had posters for us to use. I met the owner of boyish jeans and his family. It was super cool that his mum and sister joined us on the walk.

Frankie obviously was carried the entire time by me and was the star of the show per usual. He was very hot and sleepy the whole time and decided to take a nap when we got home.

It was such a fun day meeting awesome women and so inspiring to see so many supporters.

I choose to wear my white cat shirt and I got so many compliments. I almost wore shorts and I wish that I did. It was chilly in the morning so I brought a sweater and a coat but it got so hot that I carried both of them and tied them to my michael kors cross over bag. I regret not bringing a backpack or fanny pack. I also carried my water bottle which I drank at the beginning of the march.

They had some music & live speakers after the march ended. They also had food trucks which my girl friends ended up partaking in.

This was a great start to 2019. I am excited for what else is to come this year.
