RISE Festival

On 10.10.15 I had the pleasure of attending the RiSE Lantern Festival in the Mojave desert on the Moapa River Indian Reservation. It was an incredible experience to be apart of.

RiSE was by far one of the most life changing and exceptionally beautiful encounters of my entire existence thus far. I was blessed to go with my family which strengthened our bond like no other. The memories we made will last a lifetime. We wrote our hopes, dreams, and wishes for ourselves and our ancestors and sent them out into the universe on these lanterns.

When everyone released them into the atmosphere together as one whole community it was like we were creating our own stars in the sky.
